A product of Kraiga Limited (RC 1264854)
MyTenant is the flagship product of Kraiga Limited, a Nigerian software company headquartered in Lagos. We are building the operating system for Nigerian real estate — the platform that handles the administrative weight of managing rental properties, so agents and landlords can focus on what grows their business.
We are not a marketplace, and we are not a listings site. We are the software that runs the day-to-day of rental property operations: onboarding, rent collection, lease agreements, maintenance, and everything in between.
The Nigerian rental market is worth an estimated ₦6.4 trillion — and most of it still runs on paper.
Today, the typical Nigerian landlord still issues handwritten receipts, chases rent on WhatsApp, and tracks 20 tenants in an Excel sheet. Tenants still pay one-year rent upfront in cash, often without documentation, and have no visibility into what they owe or who to contact when the plumbing breaks.
Professional property agents — the ones managing 10, 50, 200 units — were burning 30+ hours a month on admin that software could do in minutes.
We built MyTenant because this status quo is expensive, stressful, and solvable.
- Collect rent 3× faster through automated reminders and online payments
- Reduce uncollected rent by matching every payment to a tenant automatically
- Never lose another receipt, agreement, or tenant record
- Serve tenants through a proper app instead of a 200-message WhatsApp group
One platform, every workflow.
All available on web, iOS, and Android. Built for Nigerian realities: yearly rent cycles, service charges, agency fees, NDPA 2023 data protection, and coverage for all 36 states plus the FCT.
What we believe.
Ejovi Ekakitie
“I grew up watching family members wrestle with rental properties — chasing tenants, losing receipts, arguing over deposits, going to court over agreements nobody had a clean copy of. The market was large, the tools were primitive, and every agent I spoke to had the same story.
MyTenant exists because the problem is solvable. Nigerian agents and landlords don't need more complicated software imported from somewhere else — they need tools built for how they actually work, respecting how Nigerian tenancies actually function. That's what we're building.”
A software engineer by training, Ejovi founded Kraiga Limited in 2024 to build software for Nigeria's large, underserved business sectors. MyTenant is Kraiga's first product.
